Opposing studies for biological approach to addiction?

Hiya thur, folks.

Yeah, um, does anyone have any opposing studies for the BA to addiction? I've been looking around teh interwebz for yonks and there isn't much to do with limitations of the approach in the 3rd edition of the AQA 'A' Psychology A2 book by Flanagan and Cardwell.

Any help would be appreciated!

How about any other study which looked at addiction from another perspective, other than biological?

So things like environmental, cognitive, developmental, behavioural, psychoanalytical, or social.

Just type "x causes of addiction" x = any approach other than biological

Or even "psychology studies into addiction"

Peoples lack of initiative is really worrying sometimes

The reason I asked is because I'm writing an essay on the biological approach to addiction and the only limitation I could find was that it's seemingly reductionist. Not the social learning approach or the behavioural or cognitive. Biological.
