Sample Size for dissertation
Hi im an engineer carrying out a survey so excuse me if this question sounds basic..
To determine the sample size People generally use: N = Z² - P (1 - P) / I²
For Z as I hear we want a confidence level of 0.95 and the corresponding Z value is 1.96?
P is the response rate - which is found out from previous studies mine is about 20%
and I the confidence Interval - I select that? And I would like a confidence Interval of 10%
So what should my sample size be as im getting a value of 9000..
