G power sample size help

Hi, I'm trying to use the G power software to worl out the sample size for my software. What values would I put in for a regression analysis. I've tried putting in 0.15 for effect size, 0.80 for power error and 0.05 for the alpha error. And I get 55 but my supervisor told me that's not right . Any help please?

Hi, It's a software which helps the researcher determine minimum sample size needed for a (quantitative) research, after selecting the statistical test being used in the study and typing in the alpha value, effect size and power level.
