Applying for medicine?

I am currently studying BTec Medical Science, and it's equivalent to A level in biology, chemistry, and physics.
Can I get into medicine from getting a Distinction in BTec Medical Science?

If not, can I get into medicine from this route:
Get a biochemistry degree, then apply for medicine.
Hi iWoolf,

I would recommend contacting a university that offers a degree in Medicine to find out what their entry requirements are. Many do accept biochemistry degrees, which we offer at Kent, here's a link: http://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/undergrad/subjects/biochemistry

The UCAS website is really helpful when choosing a course that's right for you so try looking at all the Medicine courses available and see which universities will accept a BTec in Medical Science.

Thanks and good luck,

Kayleigh
