Coronation Street's Michael Le Vell charged with Child Sex offences

I don't think there are many pedophiles who you can say "oh, I EXPECTED he was like that!" Or "I was SURE he was that way inclined!"

What I am trying to say is that it isn't something you would expect of anyone really, but it happens. I mean at first it may be a surprise, but why would an actor be any less likely than any other person to be a child abuser?

I think with the Jeremy Forest, Jimmy Saville etc etc maybe its just me but I think any idea that "respectable" professionals wouldn't do such things is gone.

ermmm i don't think you are supposed to name underage alleged victims... it may count as contempt of court
Tonight's episode - kevin is apparently busy working on a 14 year old escort.

Hardly.
Weatherfield mechanic destroys 10 year old Mercedes rim after hard run up dirt track with punctured rubber.
I'm sure the BBC have a job somewhere for him.
He claims to be innocent. I hope he is.
He's innocent until proven otherwise, as always.

Of course there are miscarriages of justice and instances where someone isn't made to defend themselves against allegations, but usually in these cases there is a very good reason for it. I don't know a huge amount about the Saville cases, except for the fact that it was covered up by certain people and that some of the victims never came forward.

What i'm against is when people know absolutely nothing about the facts of someone's case but still assumes they're guilty. Like when they say "No smoke without fire".

The BBC have a job lined up for him, with added ''benefits''.
This wasn't completely out of the blue. I'm sure there was a front page story a couple of years ago accusing him of something similar.
