4 A2 levels vs 3 A2 levels

Can people enlighten me as to the positives and benefits of each (when applying to top universities) please?

If it helps I study Edexcel Maths, AQA Business, AQA Econ, AQA German. Obviously Business is soft but I was wondering if it would look better if I kept it up anyway? Is it worth the hassle? Will it make my application look much better?

Most unis only look at 3 A levels, and your offer would only be for 3 as well. I sat 4 A levels and an AS because I enjoyed all my subjects and didn't want to drop any, but it is a lot of work. If you think you could get great results with four then keep them, but if you think it might hinder your others then drop a subject :smile:
