Hi, iv recently looked into Education (Teaching Assistants) Foundation degree. There's a big BUT I can't afford, I'm 24 and not sure what route to take.. Could any one please help?

What grants could I apply for?

If it's a foundation degree (which is usually 2 years full time) you'll get tuition fee loan, maintenance loan and maintenance grant. You can then top it up to a full degree with a one year 'top up' course, which you'll get the same funding for.

This is all providing that this will be your first time in university, and that you earn under £25k... if you earn more than £25k (in the tax year 11/12) then you'll get less grant.
