Laptop & A levels

Hey guys,

Im starting sixth form from Monday and was wondering how important laptops are to my education. I do not own one at the moment but would like to get one. I am going to studyMaths Physics Chemistry & Biology. Would laptops help me? Is it a benefit? it is also a distraction e.g facebook, twitter etc but I was wondering if the benefits outweigh this, is it a must have item that really helps?

Thanks guys :awesome:

Take my advice and don't - it's not worth it. Well, make sure you do have some form of computer, obviously, but a laptop is unnecessary.

Do you have a desktop at home? As above has said, you will need some form of computer to do research

I mean if your desktop is working sufficiently unlike my old Windows ME desktop which took 15 minutes to log in, then I wouldnt suggest grtting a laptop for alevel. I would suggest it for uni tho, in 2years!
