Computer science or electronic engineering

Im not sure if I should study electronic engineering or computer science. I enjoy both programming and some circuit theory stuff and like practicals like making a circuit using an op-amp. If I were to choose EE, would I be a worse programmer than someone who would study computer science and if so, does this mean I would have to spend lots more time out of my studying of EE to be at the same level of someone doing computer science?

Electronic engineering and computer science have different focuses. In EE, you'd be using more low level programming languages like C++. You can't really say one involves more coding than the other, it depends on the course. I'd suggest comparing the course modules at a specific university, you might find that which one you prefer depends on the university.
