For 2b,

you need to integrate it, it will have arctan in it.
For 4

you need to integrate it as well to get the answer

For the first one try y=12tanθy=\frac{1}{2}\tan \theta

What's your problem with the other one?

More maths.jpg I've integrated it by parts, but I keep getting -(-1)^0.5 instead of -1 at the end.


Thats because du/dx is 1/root( 4-x^2)
That is because dy/dx of arcsin =(x/2) is 1/(4-x^2)^1/2) .. so where you have 2 it should be a 4.
