I was just wondering if anyone has heard from the Derby university. Any offers?

I've also applied for Bsc Occupational Therapy 2014! I've applied to Bournemouth, Oxford Brookes, Brunel, Canterbury Christchurch and Southampton. So far I've received one conditional offer from Brunel which I'm really happy about as I didn't have to have an interview!!

Good luck everyone

Have an interview tomorrow for Derby... any advice on what the BSc interview is like? I know there is a group activity and then a one to one interview, I'm really really nervous. I've applied for Derby, Cumbria- Carlisle Campus, Middlesbrough Teesside, York St John and Sheffield Hallam.
So far I've heard back from Derby (Interview Tomorrow), Cumbria (Interview on January 29th) and Teesside (Interview on the 8th of January)
I also got an email ages ago from York St John saying thank you for applying, but nothing since. Really nervous for my interview... Cumbria is my first choice so if this one goes really bad I still have time to prepare  Good Luck to everyone!
hey i have an interview at teeside on the 8th too! has anyone applied for northumbria? and heard back?

Hi there,
I have also applied for UWE and I've got an interview with them in February. I'm sure you'll hear back from them soon. Good luck

Hiya, well done! That's great :-) how much experience have you had? I'm worried about getting offers because I've only had a small amount of experience! Thank you! Xxx

Thank you  and the only work experiences I have done is with a few pre-schools and volunteered at one school, that is specialised for those with learning difficulties and such. None of them are environments where you would find an Occupational Therapist working in except for the latter I guess. I'm quite worried as well, as some unis expect you to have at least shadowed an Occupational Therapist and I haven't had any interaction with an Occupational Therapist as of yet :frown::frown: but hopefully we'll be fine. and don't worry, mine took quite long as well at the start, you'll be fine x

I've applied to Bournemouth! I really like the area, good night life with a lot going on. But I was a bit out off with the actualy course as they have quite short practice placements!

That' s so good! I don't even know, probably Southampton but it's unlikely I'll get an offer from there. Have you heard back from anywhere else?

I've just applied to UWE, Oxford Brookes, Coventry and Cardiff. Not expecting to hear much until the new year, but just had an interview invitation for Coventry at the end of Jan. I'm really pleased but a bit nervous - it says there will be a group and a written exercise, anyone got any thoughts what these might be like?

I also have struggled to get actual shadowing / experience with an OT, although I'm doing some volunteering with riding for the disabled and hoping to start in a care home soon too. Not easy to find the time for it all alongside a job and studying is it?

Good luck to everyone
