The Truman Show - free will and determinism !!

for those that have watched "The Truman Show" movie, thought you all might be able to give me a few ideas regarding this assignment i need to do.

What kind of deterministic behaviour does Truman display? What forces are controlling him – are they biological, psychic or environmental?

Does Truman have any free will (does he believe he does?) in the sense that he can choose freely to do what he wants to do from a number of options.

At what point do you think that Truman has control over his behaviour?
