G482 boundaries are so low but I just don't do that good on papers:confused:. Maybe some revision in the next half term will sort that out.

We have no where near finished that and I am very worried

I did a paper, dropped two marks I think. On something where my answer wasn't wrong. Just not what they wanted!

Dropped just two marks?! As in 98 marks?

We finished about a month ago but I still don't feel comfortable about it, I just find it a hard unit in general

I am shocked at how quickly year 12 has gone by.

My sixth form is being annoying. I am not getting study leave and after i do an exam i have to go and do my normal lessons instead of going home to revise for my next exam. It would be soo much better if there was study leave.

Wow that must be annoying!!! Good luck

We get the day off before the exam (unless the exam is on a Monday in which case we don't get anything off). It's better than last year though when the Welsh Assembly Government decided to limit our GCSE study leave to 2 weeks at the very last minute!
Starts Wednesday.

In regard to Imperial, I wasn't exactly encouraged by this thread (and yes I did read more than the first reply), but I told my dad and he said he had done some research of his own into Imperial and concluded that it wasn't such a good place :dontknow:

Ah yes, I remember the "command words" from Geography  Very similar in History, where you've got to draw distinctions between words in the question like "success" and "effectiveness" - getting the wrong one can apparently drop you a couple of grades... Do you know if you're just doing S1 next year or S2 as well?

That's not a bad idea - I've got study leave coming up soon, so I could see if I could go in to talk things through with him.

Oh, that's not very encouraging! Luckily I'm not even considering Imperial then.

Yeah, I'd imagine History is similar in that respect. It's annoying, you have to know when to express your own opinion or give a balanced argument, when to include case studies even though they don't explicitly ask for them, when to include information regarding knowledge outside the spec... :colonhash: I do enjoy it though. We're definitely doing S1, and if I take Further Maths it'll be either S2 or M3 - though I'm hoping for mechanics. Do you know which modules you'll be taking?

We don't technically get any, as we have to keep attending lessons up until the exam. Obviously people who finish their exams early get a few weeks off as we don't come back for A2's until June 16th, but for people like me, who have exams that are still continuing, we don't get a break. When does yours start?
