MEGATHREAD BMAT discussion for 2015 entry

I actually have to be memorizing stuff for my chemistry lab assessment, but I still have no idea about any of the stuff.

Also, this year, almost ALL of my tests are in the B to A range, almost none in A* range. How am I supposed to get into medicine? :s-smilie:

It's probably because you're stressed out, trust me I'm having a lot of issues this term too because I just can't focus on anything.... Damn you university applications!!!

It could just be that UCL applicants have done worse than in previous years.. I think I'm foolishly still hoping for a high score :frown:

You don't need an A. It's just average scores, you might even get an interview with sub-standard scores.

Anyone know how Leeds or Brighton & Sussex use the BMAT?

For Leeds, I think they pick the top 20% only, not sure about BSMS

They've had such low application number this year
All we know is no Cs and no 3s
I think itll be top 40%

Nor do Brighton but you have to reach a minimum wherever which is a low score normally
They average 1 and 2 I believe
I haven't applied to leeds so I don't know
