My free elective was always on a thurs afternoon 2-4pm, just 2 hours a week. Counted nothing towards my degree ( as it was in the first year). Not challenging, just 2x 1500 essays and a 50 MCQ exam. Other electives from different schools and at different years of the degree will differ, depends what your doing and when I would think
