C4 Vectors help please

The last part is where I need help please. I thought the ps would cancel, so I could easily determine lambda. Then work out x, y and z to get the position vector of N and job done, but that flopped despite my effort in doing that huge expansion:frown::frown::frown:

Thanks a lot.

well you need to set the dot product to zero...

so 22p - 44 must be zero...

Oh yeah, I thought P was a foxed point. I understand it now.

Thanks
Point p lies on line l.
Therefore vector mp is perpendicular to line l.
Set the scalar product of the these vectors equal to zero and you should get your answer
