I'm starting at a new (selective) school, and I'm in equal measures terrified and excited. At least I've got four mates moving with me.

The vast majority of my year are going to one of two local colleges.
Good luck with meeting new people, we can only hope that the people are nice

It's a long story. Basically, our science department cashed in double science in Year 10, since they were the important ones for the school statistics, and taking triple might bring those grades down (if you catch my drift). If we wanted to do triple science, be had to do three pieces of coursework, in addition to learning the triple content, in year 11 and then take all 9 exams again in May and June this year. So, although there is some overlap, all five GCSEs have been certificated. I'm not convinced about how genuine they are but I'm not passing up on some A*s!
