Acturial science

i have got 3 As at as level in chemistry physics and biology, and an A in full A-level maths and now going to do further maths. i am considering actuarial science at university. i have looked at Queen's (Belfast), leeds and manchester. i would like a year in placement as well although only 3 Uni's offer it.(Queens, East Anglia, Leeds)
I would just like some help on which Uni's are best for actuarial science. Also what courses are similar to actuarial science which i could consider as well. e.g. maths courses
