Where to get cheap course books?

im starting a course in forensic psychology but the books are really expensive... is there anywhere you can get them cheap? or at a reasonable price?

Firstly, you probably don't need every book- wait till you start the course and see whats in the library (and what isn't). Amazon has really good used options if its a book which isn't too recent. Also, if the book is well-known, there may well be a free pdf version of it somewhere on the internet if you keep googling!

Like the above poster said, save your money and see what the library has to offer. As you progress through your degree you will use textbooks less and less and will be asked to refer to journals instead. I made the mistake of spending hundreds of pounds on books that I barely used and regret that decision!
