I've been looking it up and it looks like there's a few good clubs, walkabout, fever, Lola's, mosh and revs and then you have a 20min train ride to Notts so seems okay

That sounds good, quite a few clubs!
What course are you applying for?

I had a wander round the city when I was there and it looks really nice, bit of history to go with the modern which is what I was looking for

Have you applied for accommodation??
I am just waiting for my last offer from Northumbria.. But I have got 4. So I am not really bothered.. But I can't make any choices on UCAS till I get all my offers:erm:

Yeah at the end of December I got my room allocation this evening. If you're not bothered about your last offer you can withdraw your application from that university but if it's your insurance you should wait it out.

I've only spoke to one person who seems to know their accommodation so don't worry too much and there is plenty of it!

I don't think any accommodation is the best for social life. There is ones closer to the town but it's all dependent on the people you end up in halls with. Unless you put a friend you want to be in the same halls with then it's the lottery. Those who may not be fond of halls social life may go for private housing so I'd say any halls is good cause you'll have loads of people to meet and socialise with.

Kind of agree with you mate. Not being offensive to anyone . But I drink and like to have a laugh and go out with some mates that are cool with all that.

Everyone will want to go out at freshers even if they don't drink so it'll be fine! Plus by everyone asking looks like most of us want to anyway
