Religious Studies 30 mark Question format?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to approach the format of RS 30 mark questions, like sort of a formula of a suitable layout?

The exam board is AQA (A) if that makes a difference and the the question currently (though this question is relevant to RS essays as a whole so I can get better at 30 markers) is 'Explain religious teachings about equality with particular reference to gender and race'

I have the points of argument written in my notes so thats not the issue (and i certainly don't want the essay done for me) it's just how to apply them to the 30 marker. For instance, should it be a completely two sided essay set out with a few paragraphs for and a few against? Is an introduction necessary or is it better to get started straight away? With what layout would you approach it?

I have a feeling I understand how to do it more than I think, I just need a little guidance. Thankyou!
