How does student finance work?

I know all the rules with student finance and I understand how you repay student finance etc, however I dont know how to apply and how it goes into your account/links with your uni?

It confuses me so much! So when do I apply? Once ive accepted an offer? (My offers Unconditional btw if that helps?)

Please, as much info as possible will be helpful because its really stressing me out!!!

Hi there.

If you are applying for a course in the 14/15 academic year you can apply online just now here: http://bit.ly/1aDGvAl by creating account and selecting 'start a new application'

If you are applying for 15/16, the process is the same, but these applications are not available to make until the beginning of next year.

The earlier you can apply the better so if you already have a first choice then I would advise to apply asap. If your choice changes you can make changes to the application you have already made at a later date.
