Just wondering if anyone knows what happens if you fail your maths or English bksb?
It's been a good 10 years since I left school & the only thing that's worrying me is the maths element.
Would I get the chance to do it again if I didn't make the mark?

cheers
You start basic training a couple of days early and try it again.

Thanks for the reply. I've read on here that you could be booted from the course if you don't meet the required standard? Is that right?
What would happen if say you had the worst outcome, would you get the chance to do it again or is that it?
Not saying it would happen, but I do struggle with maths & I'm trying to revise as much as I can. It would be a shame to get that far & get kicked off the course.
Thanks

I mean for the basic key skills not the functional skills

From my understanding if you fail any aspect of functional skill you get the chance to do it again, however if you fail the bksb then teas oot. Tbh i have read so many conflicting stories, i was told its just to measure what level of numeracy and math you are working at, i have read that you get kicked off the course if you fail it, so i am just going to ring the afco tomorrow to get a proper answer on it.
