Are Jordans retaliation executions of isis prisoners the way to go?

While i oppose capital punishment in the UK because of the fear that the state could be wrong, there is much less ambiguity with ISIS. People that join ISIS are joining a terrorist group which implicitly wants to harm us.

So yes, i support the execution of ISIS members and frankly would support them being shot on sight.

We may not be able to remove them completely (requires a ground occupation in pretty much the entire middle east and probably breaches of just war - civilian casualties) but states like Jordan can send a message that if ISIS hits them, they'll hit them back.


A profoundly sensible post. We are not talking about typical criminals here this is a cancer the likes the world has not seen since ww2 or the khmer rouge and it needs annihalated
The Jordanian regime had no room for maneuver, local culture and political pressures compelled them. And we support the Jordanian regime, don't we?
