Cheers
I've already registered. I was sent a letter with simple instructions for how to do so. Frankly the video is unnecessary for anyone who's also going to be capable of thinking intelligently about what sort of policies they want in the next government.
Lol can't vote until I am 18
I think I'm already registered, but it can't have hurt to do it again. I also wanted to be sure I wasn't on the edited register, as I've no reason to be.
I was sent a letter a few months ago telling me to register or be prosecuted. I did the stuff online and another letter came through the door a few weeks later thanking me for registering so I'm pretty confident I'll be voting. Still no idea who for, though. Probably won't decide until I'm actually at the polling booth.
Registered, but still don't know who to vote for :frown:

Pretty sure I am registered to vote but I registered again just in case.

^ In response to everyone who's not sure who to vote for - read a few manifesto's! Make an informed decision this May, and vote for the party that you're sure YOU want.

(Can't stand when people vote for a party because their parents are voting for them etc.)
Registered :woo: That was really easy

I'm 17 and have still registered since I got the letter with the £80 fine blackmail

introducing the fine was pretty rubbish though they didn't give a deadline or anything so I wonder if it was a bluff...
I did the registration well over 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing else since... :grumble:

Do you have to register before each election? Also I registered in November but had a letter corm though to tell me that I has asked to do a postal ballot when I hadn't:erm: does that mean as I didn't hand it in I'm not registered?
Done! Although I'll be voting by proxy as I'm out the country on election day
I've registered but i don't know who to vote for! D:

Not usually but the registration system changed recently so I believe everyone had to register again.

Here's some info on the postal vote thing- looks like you can just hand it in at the polling station

If you’re too late to post your ballot paper back, you can hand it in to your local Electoral Registration Office or bring it to your local polling station by 10pm on polling day.

I received a letter saying that something had changed behind the scenes but there was no need for me to re-register.. so guessing it's not everyone. No idea what changed though

Oh, maybe it was because I have changed address since I last registered? I thought that was why they introduced the fine as they had so many people to encourage to re-register!
