Have a look here - the individual course pages will have information about typical offers. You can assume - especially for Imperial - that the AS grades you offer need to be consistent with the expected grades at A level.

Imperial's course is far more competitive, and they give ridiculous offers out sometimes (like my A*A*AA and a 1 in STEP II for their standard computing course). Most will have AAAA at AS
