Athletics/endurance running at Birmingham

Hi, I am a keen endurance athlete and have competed in national competitions for the past few years. I'm looking to study at Birmingham next year and was wondering what the training is like? Also is it possible to do long runs off road?

Hi :-)

So by early 2016 the Uni of Birmingham will have a brand new £55m sports centre so you won't be short of places to train. We're also 3rd in the national BUCS league for sport so you'll be around other athletes! Birmingham has a HUGE canal network with gravel paths that extend for absolutely miles, there is also the river Rea valley that is a good place to go (I cycle it but you can run there)
