The corrdinates of points A and B are (a,2) and (3,b) respectively, where a and b are constants. The distance of AB is root 125 and the gradient of the line AB is 2. Find the possible values of a and b.

write an expression for the gradient in terms of a and b and set it equal to 2

write an expression for the distance of the two points in terms of a and b and set it equal to root125

then you know what (I hope)
