Room conditions depend on the room, although I'd recommend opting for a refurbished room as they are more bearable than the non refurbished. With staff response, again it varies on the situation. My lock on the front door broke and they fixed it the next day, whereas my friends oven broke and it took them about 3 months to fix it! And the noise levels depends on your flat mates
