GCSE Edexcel History A Controlled Assessment

Hi,
I'm meant to be doing my GCSE Edexcel History A 1st Controlled Assessment soon and I have to do a practice one during the summer (I'm in between Year 10 and 11).

The problem is that I'm really stuck on what it entails (mine will be on civil rights in America) and how to write it (structure, what to write in paragraphs, etc.). Does anyone have an example / exemplar of a high quality essay and / or the respective note and quote sheets? If not, could you please give some help on how such an essay should be written and how to structure a point so I can get my essay to four sides (the recommended amount)?

Though I'm not looking for any specific help on the question I was given, I've written in below to give some context to my problem:

P.S. I'm pretty sure this controlled assessment is the first one out of the three that we do.
