jamestg Biology help

So instead of doing multiple threads asking questions, I thought it would be a good idea to do one thread and post on the thread whenever I had an issue.

First question:
Is this reason why the bottom of the test tube reacts with the benedict reagent, is because the benedict reagent is less dense than the solution being tested, and so it reacts at the bottom because that's where it ends up?

Thanks!

When doing a quantitative test for reducing sugars, why do you set the colorimeter to 0.0 with a blank cuvette?
