Moving to the UK

Hi

I will just start by saying I live in Australia/ am Australian.

I am considering moving to the UK (been there before, loved it) I'm 29 now and am close to getting to the age where I need to apply for a youth mobility visa (30 is the cutoff). However I really want to apply again for graduate medicine in Australia next May. To improve my portfolio for admissions I need to get some more rural experience in Australia as that is what they are judging you on. I lived in rural Australia for 2 years as a child, however that is obviously not enough/ too long ago to matter. Should I cancel my plans to move to the UK just so I can stay in Australia and improve my portfolio. I desperately want to do medicine.

What should I do?
If you really want to do medicine, stay and look to move to the UK at a later point.
