Batman Morata

That's the only way a 3-5-2 "works". Literally the only creative threat coming from an out of position centre back. Then again, I trust Luiz over Bats to gather Morata's flick ons.

Chelsea loaning 20 players out and having squad depth issues. Top kek

Yeah it is very retarded what we've done and agree with your 3-5-2.

I just know we're going to go 3-4-3. Doubt Morata is playing LW as we need a striker on the bench, Batshuayi probably on the bench if it's a 3-4-3.

Thing is Batman plays well with another striker.

I think we should just play the formation which won us the Champions League. 9-0-1

Sneak a goal on the counter against Spurs.

Apparently we're "closing in" on Oxlade-Chamberlain for £35 million.

"Closing in"

Azpi Christienson Rudiger Alonso

Morata Batshuayi

This seems a little more balanced than three at the back. You also have the option of parking the bus and hitting them on the break, which you don't get with wing backs (especially Alonso). I know he hasn't started a game in four seasons, but Remy is still on the books, right? Chamberlain isn't a bad signing, you play a specialist formation and he can "do a job" in six of the positions.

Probably should have kept Tammy Abraham.

Hell I would take AOC over Drinkwater

Drinkwater is better with the ball though. If Fabregas gets injured/claps the referee, it'd be good to have someone who can distribute the ball.

No reason not to sign both in fairness. Not exactly stacked with options

CM: Bakayoko, Fab, Kante
WG: Hazard, Pedro, Willian

Baba Rahman is off on loan apparently.

Wasn't Conte complaining about not having enough players? How many do you actually have on your books? You must have around 30 others players on loan.

I heard somewhere Conte doesn't think he's good enough defensively.

26 in the first team squad, which contains the likes of Diego Costa, Remy, Scott (doesn't even have a wiki page), Clarke-Salter (not a clue who he is), Tomori and Kenedy (who is going on loan to Newcastle apparently)

26 on loan, most not even good enough for the bench.

So either develop those players or sell them to buy first team players? Chelsea have more than enough resource for Conte to be complaining about squad depth.

They won't raise much money anyway.

Plus I don't think money is the problem. We've raised £160 million from player sales. On top of that we've got a record deal from Nike (£60m) starting this season. Our other sponsors and prize money and TV money makes a total of £461 million income.

I just don't know what they're doing

Tammy Abraham needs to develop somewhere else otherwise he's going to play 5 games in the season and get pissed off and go to united.

That formation probably will work if we play morata on the wing. I will be pissed off if we sell Remy and not get anyone in.

Also why can't we just buy barkley? That neymar sale really has ****ed us over.

How has the Neymar transfer affected you? Why would you want Barkley?

In a world where we can't pay an extra few million for danilo imagine everton selling Barkley now everyone has effectively had the price inflated 1.5x their value last season.

I'd want barkley as he can play in the centre and so we don't have to start boga or musonda against teams like Manchester United in an injury crisis.

Some good news. Bakayoko reported for full training today

Lol please just put him on the bench so we don't have to put on Kyle Scott and Musonda vs Spurs ffs.

Kyle Scott's got more appearances on the Chelsea bench than pages on Wikipedia.

I don't think he'll make the bench though. Conte was so hesitant in starting Morata while Bakayoko a week after injury goes straight onto the bench. Don't think so.

I think if he gets fit enough he should be on the bench but I don't think Conte will do that.

Has a team ever suffered a worse injury/suspension crisis than this one?

Take out Messi, Busquets, Pique, Iniesta from Barça and they're pretty sh*t as well.

Arsenal vs United 2011 8-2

Szczesny
Jenkinson, Djourou, Koscielny, Armand Traore
Ramsey, Coquelin
Walcott, Rosicky, Arshavin
Van Persie.

They put on Chamberlain who was 18 at the time, Chamakh and Henri Lansbury.

I meant big teams. Birmingham City had a more recent trophy than Arsenal at that time.

Not many big teams find themselves in this position.
