Should Russia arm the Kurds in response to Turkey shooting plane down?

Russia should arm and train the Kurdish PKK as a response to Turkey shooting down their aircraft. Russia should support the rights of the Kurds to have their own independent state in Eastern Turkey with a corridor to the Mediterranean, giving Kurdistan a sea port.

In return the Kurds could allow Russia to have airbases in Kurdistan.

Turkey is out of order! They on one hand have allowed the Daesh to cross through their land to commit crimes against humanity in Syria and Iraq, yet the Turks won't allow Russian aircraft to cross through a tiny bit of a Turkey. Out of order!
A few more Kalashnikovs never hurt anyone.
The PKK hungry for a free Kurdistan armed with state of the art Russian weapons and training by Russian special forces would certainly be a big thorn in the side of Turkey.

What Erdogan would call a huge backfire. :u:
Is this a joke? Because arming groups in the Middle East has worked so well in the past

The Kurds are different. They aren't like the Deash or other terrorists in Syria. The Kurds are not Islamic extremists all they want is a free independent Kurdistan in East Turkey. Kurds have fought heroically against the Daesh and are a very secular people. The Turks have oppressed the Kurds for many years.

there is a reason why PKK is on the international terrorist list.
but hey, personally i think they should be armed- in the best case they will fight and die killing ISIS, they will kill each other. win-win

The PKK are only considered international terrorists because Turkey is a NATO member. All the PKK want is their own state in East Turkey, and be free from Erdogan. Just like the so-called rebel groups in Syria want.

In any case Turkey has supported all the terrorist groups in Syria and allowed the Daesh to pass through Turkey to commit genocide in Syria and Iraq. Them groups are far worse than the PKK!

Let's remember the west supported the Afghan Mujahadeen terrorist group in attacking the Soviets when they helped liberate Afghanistan and the west supported the Deash in Libya who got rid of Gadaffi.

What a silly argument.

Using your logic, Palestine shouldn't be recognised as a country because it's not internationally-recognised by the same countries which consider the PKK to be terrorists.
Yes. To the teeth. Actions have consequences.

The Turks say the exact same thing with regard to the Russians bombing ethnic Turkmen in Syria - hence why they shot down their jet.
Russia is hurting the Turkmen in Syria it's their fault

Do you not think Russia was out of order for flying an armed aircraft in Turkish territory?
We should be arming the Kurds to the teeth anyway.
