well i tried to do question Q9 on Solomon Paper F and i got really confused in part B.

Well i got part a right, but when i tried doing part b i got the wrong values...

is it a question about the graph of a sec?

Here's the question, im just stuck on part B


5. (a) Sketch the graph of y = 2 + sec (x − π6 ) for x in the interval 0 ≤ x ≤ 2π. Show on your sketch the coordinates of any turning points and the equations of any asymptotes.
(5)(b) Find, in terms of π, the x-coordinates of the points where the graph crosses the x-axis.

set y=0 and solve the resulting equation

Yeah thats what i done and my final values were 5/6 Pi and 11/6 pi

the first value was right, but i don't know where i went wrong with my second value

post a photo of your workings and I am more than happy to tell you

i just found out where i went wrong... I drew the CAST table wrong
