Had a strange visual communication interview

I had such a strange interview for illustration! My interviewer barely looked through my portfolio with me there, asked me two questions and when I responded to them they didnt say anything !
I dont know if that was just their style of interview or if they just weren't interested enough to have a conversation with me.
Has anyone else has a strange interview so far ?

I had an illustration interview yesterday too, but mine was completely different and just like a conversation? it went on for about 20 minutes- they looked through our portfolios before they met us though, so maybe that's why they didn't look through it?

I would have loved to have a conversation !
They looked at ours first yesterday too, but I was expecting some commentary, or to engage in convo rather than 10 minutes of awkwardness. Hopefully it doesn't impact my chances !
