therapeutic radiography at bcu

I have been offered an interview to study therapeutic radiography for birmingham city university. i am just worried about the clinical experience it states on the form that ‘ all candidates must complete a short period of work experience. A minimum of one full day in a Radiotherapy Department is expected in order to fulfil this criterion.’
I was not able to find work experience as it is hard to find for therapeutic radiography. i checked on the website and it said for the course that it is not compulsory but it’s desirable that we have experience and know what this career is like.
Will i be rejected if i don’t have work experience or will it be fine and not affect my application. i doubt everyone who applied has had a short period of work experience.
