A Level chemistry question: oxidation state of vanadium!

Hey guys,

I'm doing a question from the george facer book and am stuck:

25.0 cm ^3 sample of a 0.100 mol dm ^ - 3 solution of V3+ ions were placed in a conical flask and excess dilute sulfuric acid added.

Potassium manganate (VII) of concentration 0.0500 mol dm ^ - 3 was added from a burette until a faint pink colour was seen.

The title was 20 cm ^ 3.

I have worked out
the moles of the potassium manganate (0.001) and that of the vanadium (0.0025) and I know the manganate must gain 5 electrons.

The question I cannot do is:
Calculate the oxidation state of the vanadium after reaction with the manganate(vii)

Thanks guys x
