Proving ordinary residence in the EU

Hi!
I am a EU worker in London and have been living within the EU for my whole life except for a year, two years ago, I did an internship in Turkey. Am I still eligible for the postgraduate loan? Which documents can I use to prove my ordinary residence in the EU?
Thanks,
Gloria
Hi there.

You would need to have been resident in the EU for the full 3 years prior to your course.

Your internship would count as a break in your residency and you may not be offered funding unless you can prove that your break was of a temporary nature.

If you have any evidence that clearly states the Internship was temporary then this would suffice.

Thanks.

Thank you Mark. Can I use contracts of employment or official social security documents as an evidence?

Thanks,

Gloria
Hi,

Yes, if you have contracts which state this was a temporary arrangement this would suffice.

We can also accept any temporary visas that you may have had.

Thanks
