Student loan, residence and covid lockdown

I went to new Zealand in March 2020 with intention to travel and come back. I had a place at uni in Manchester . Then I was stuck due to lockdown, deferred the place but eventually didn't start. I came back in December 22. I now got a place on a different course and apply for student loan. All the time in nz my visa was a holiday and I never intended to stay but it was hard to come back due to all restrictions in nz and UK. Is my place in uni in Manchester a proof that I intended to come back? Is covid taken into account in addition to the tax and bank account evidence?

Do you mean it's a good enough proof in my favour? (Original post by PQ)Your visa is proof

Temporary stays outside the UK don’t change your ordinary residence. A holiday visa proves that your stay was always intended to be temporary.
