That's sourced straight from the unistats data - https://unistats.direct.gov.uk/subjects/employment/10004063FT-L101-UBEC/ReturnTo/Search and https://unistats.direct.gov.uk/subjects/employment/10004113FT-KISL100/ReturnTo/Search (note unistats also has interquartile range as well as the median.

All unistats state about the longitudinal DLHE data is:
"A further survey, the Longitudinal DLHE, follows up a sample of these respondents three and a half years (40 months) later. The response rate to this is about 40%. Data from both surveys is displayed on Unistats, with the data for the Longitudinal DLHE being shown for all similar courses as it is based on a sample of all graduates, in contrast to the early survey which is a broad census." https://unistats.direct.gov.uk/find-out-more/about-the-data/

So the difference is going to be down to how HESA define "similar courses". Normally that would be based on JACS subject codes but it would be odd if those two weren't both grouped under L1 Economics so it could well be that HESA are trying to be a bit cleverer about that definition (or that one or the other course has managed to mess up a very simple JACS coding).
Oh dear...

Many people posting here are clearly Law/Economics/Politics students as they seem to think that UCL, LSE and Kings do top the rankings in each and every subject. Well, let me tell you something - they do not.

Surrey, Lancaster, St Andrews were amongst the top for some years now and I do think they will remain there. Look at their research in fields such as engineering, medical sciences etc.

But never mind, I guess as one Oxford professor said last week (not going to mention the name): 'There are those who sniff their own ******** and pretend that it smells like roses'.

Please don't lump St Andrews with Surrey and Lancaster.

Surrey and Lancaster have only done well recently, whilst St Andrews has always done well. For the 2010 ranking, Surrey was 27th and Lancaster was 16th,

Because I'm on this mailing list as part of my job: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=ind1705&L=ADMIN-PLANNING&F=&S=&P=2580

Looks like they've changed the dates at the last minute though
