Guardian/Daily Mail Uni/Times Rankings 2024

The Guardian and Daily Mail (for the first time) have released their uni rankings for 2024. St. Andrews and Imperial first respectively. The Times also put St. Andrews first. How did you find them any shocks, any uni placed where it shouldn’t?

How did you find the Daily Mail ranking as it is their first time?

Both of them place the the university I attended in the top 10. Therefore it is evident they both use an empirically sound methodology.

Haha there’s so many big gaps for some unis between the two as well like Durham and Queen Mary

Clearly Imperial has committed some grave error for the Daily Mail to rank them number 1

😂, I don’t trust any of the “Daily X” (Daily Mail, Daily Express, Daily Mirror etc) newspapers in the first place to be honest.

The Daily Mail is a gossip tabloid, not a serious newspaper, so I'm very unimpressed about them going and doing university rankings.

Oxford and Cambridge are both very good universities for so many years. It always stands in top one and two in the rankings. However, under this technology world, it change. Its like many people still think that Harvard university is ranking higher than MIT. But in fact, in terms of technology, MIT already beats Harvard.

A new era has come
As if league tables weren't already pointless enough, now the bastion of journalistic malpractice known as the daily mail is making one...

Indeed, the slight % difference from the students they asked for feedback, changed the outcome

What does woke mean

A term that some hardcore conservatives like to use when they don't agree with something or like it, but here's a dictionary for a proper meaning:

It's a common misspelt version of "wok", a Chinese cooking pan, you can make some delicious food with it!
St Andrews is also top of the Sunday Time league table. Is this the end of Oxbridge as we know it?! (No, of course not...)

You sure that's a thing? A lot of other unis have also posted about their results in the ST tables

And much of this information is already on the Times website.
