Probably 2 you would have missed the accuracy mark and a method mark.

i got 67, and its estimated 66 for an A?? thats high.

8 (ii) alt solution

2^{2x+5}-7(2^x)=0

2^{2x+5}=7(2^x)

\log_2(2^{2x+5})=\log_2(7)+\log_2(2^x)

2x+5=\log_2(7)+x

x=\log_2(7)-5

This is how I did it.

normally not much movement with the c and b grade boundaries but i agree that an A could be 64

64 seems just right, it was an easy paper to be honest. id say only 4 marks were hard to get in that paper
