How much does it cost for a student to live ?
We have a £3821 maintanence loan granted...how much more will my son need to top up?...what is a realistic figure to live on with everything included eg rent, books, food, travel etc. he is hoping to go to Norwich
I assume he wants to move out of the family home?
University halls can cost £4,500+ for rent alone and that's not including food... I'm not sure how much it could be altogether though. Usually about £20 a week for food if you're clever, look at second hand books?, have a look at the travel costs online for the area.
