Should I use a different name at uni?
Okay so essentially I really don't like my forename, and I know that a lot of people go by a middle name or a nickname mostly, so should I do that? Would it come off as strange to new friends? Has anybody else done this?

I'm assuming your name is Lucy Rose? Nothing wrong with the name Lucy if that's the case. Also, this is university, not secondary school. People are adults and won't judge you. But no harm in using a middle name/nickname really, it's up to you if it matters that much to your ego/confidence.
