S1 Discrete Random Variables Help - 8c, 3a) c)

The random variable T has mean 20 and standard deviation 5. It is required to scale T using the transformation S=aT+b, where a and b are constants (a>0), so that E(S) and Var(S) satisfy specified values. Find the values of a and b in each of the following cases: E(S) = 0 and Var(S) = 1, E(S) = 50 and Var(S) = 100

I've seen this question posted before but I'm really struggling with this topic and need a bit more detail on how to answer this sort of question.

Thanks to anyone that can help (and a credit to you if you understand what's going on!)
