Should i be deducted NI
i had a summer job this last month and i earned about £570ish. I wasnt deducted tax cos i have a student tax code, but i was deducted NI for some reason (about £15) should i have been deducted this? im a student and im not going to be earning any more money this yr so there's no way i went over the limit. also, how would i go about claiming back the NI
so i cant claim it back then? i dont mind that much cos it wasnt much but £15 could still come in handy
I worked loads of overtime one week and although I am still way under my tax limit, I have been charged £20 in NI contributions this year..... there goes my time and a half that I get for doing over 40 hours.....
