i wrote that a hydrocarbon is 'a compound of hydrogen and carbon (mostly)' because i got mixed up, the definition is actually 'only'
do examiners still mark something in brackets s i won't get the mark?

Think grade boundaries will be relatively high for this exam... info needed to answer questions were pretty basic, the questions were just worded weirdly. Not really sure though 🙄

For the very last question I said:
One of the c-c double bonds break and one of the h-h single bonds break. Each of the carbon atoms join up with a hydrogen atom with single bonds.
How many marks should I get?

I took higher tier for biology and the rest foundation but it was the biggest mistake I made because I didn't learn any theory so both tiers was attempted disappointingly 😬 I missed out questions I could of got marks for because I needed more time
