Does anyone have any idea of the Stress/Strain figures for graphite? My coursework is in so soon, n all i need to do to complete it is to have numerical data, does any one have any idea of the stress/strain figures for graphite so i can plot a graph? Ive searched everywhere! Thanks, i hope so much some one know!
If you're just comparing it then just use your data of stress/strain to calculate the Young's Modulus and then compare the value of this, don't plot graphs for the stuff you are comparing your findings to
Didn't you ask this already in another thread anyway?
Im not compating it, i have the Youngs modulus from the internet of around 9 - 12, but i need to find the Stress or strain, so i can plot a graph, i cant just make up like, 90 Mpa stess and 10% strain to get a young modulus of 9.
Oh right, so you're actually just making up your results? Nice... If you're not actually going to do the experiment you may as well just make up the data itself, just work out a reasonable amount of strain that you could have applied
