If you're just comparing it then just use your data of stress/strain to calculate the Young's Modulus and then compare the value of this, don't plot graphs for the stuff you are comparing your findings to

Didn't you ask this already in another thread anyway?

Im not compating it, i have the Youngs modulus from the internet of around 9 - 12, but i need to find the Stress or strain, so i can plot a graph, i cant just make up like, 90 Mpa stess and 10% strain to get a young modulus of 9.

You know the gradient and that it goes through (0,0).

Oh right, so you're actually just making up your results?
Nice...
If you're not actually going to do the experiment you may as well just make up the data itself, just work out a reasonable amount of strain that you could have applied

Thank you all! :P Yes its for coursework, but were not actually allowed to do the experiment, i found an approximate region of figures, thanks all.
