Red Light cameras.

Was on my way to work Saturday morning and had a bit of a disaster at some lights. Lights were red so I stopped, lights went green I went to move off but stalled. By the time I had moved off properly I was already into the junction,I'm sure the lights ahead of me were still amber so I should be fine but you never know. There didn't appear to be any red light cameras, just grey sensors on top of the lights. I know I will have to wait to see if an NIP drops through the door but can anyone vaguely help my mind to rest and confirm these are sensors as I thought ? Box on top looked like this stock photo

Not a red light camera.
That's a sensor mate (or "intelligent traffic system" as AGD like to call them), they're common at controlled junctions and I wish more of them had them. Nothing worse than waiting still for 5 minutes on a dead roundabout at 2am.

Did you end up getting a fine by any chance as I did the same mistake yesterday and am a bit nervous as to whether I will receive a fine
